Q: Why would we need a Readiness Assessment?

A: Conducting a Readiness Assessment is the equivalent of doing an inventory of all your company assets and skills.  With this process you dig deep into your organization to identify your strengths and weaknesses and determine how prepared you are to design, implement and manage an online learning program.

Here's a thought to keep in mind:  You cannot go and build a third floor addition to your home if your foundations cannot support the weight.  If you do and the foundations are weak you will bring all three floors crashing down into the basement.

Likewise, you cannot simply go and layer an online learning program overtop of your existing education operations if these operations are not in sound condition.  The added stress to your organization may cause significant damage and putyour whole institution at risk.
